Rise & fall of Ziggy Stardust

 Description du produit

The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars - David Bowie's masterpiece from 1972 - is now available in vinyl format. This concept album, which reflects perfectly the spirit of its time, is a musical and visual shock. Ziggy, the glam guitarist, is the most iconic Bowie character, and his androgynous image is reflected in the electric and almost sexual rock'n'roll that characterizes this album. The album is a delirium where Oscar Wilde, science fiction, Vince Taylor, and a plethora of ideas collide like in a Lewis Carroll's attic. The album offers some insane compositions such as Starman, Ziggy Stardust, Rock'n'Roll Suicide, and Suffragette City, which prefigures punk.
